Job Title: Systems Administrator
Department: IT
Reports to: AVP, Information Technology
Position Purpose :
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Document and track issues using a ticketing system
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and tools
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies
Create and maintain technical documentation
Willingness to travel and work extended hours to support on location auctions
Be flexible to perform the needed tasks to get the job done
Able to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision, but also a team player
Ability to work with all levels of the organization including Executive Management

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with Microsoft 365 apps, Intune, and Defender ATP
Familiarity with network troubleshooting and network concepts
Experience running and terminating cat5 network cables
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-oriented with a focus on providing excellent service
Position requires excellent communication and time management skills
Mobile device management using Intune or similar systems

Culture
Barrett-Jackson's culture is live and in-person. Team members are in the office 5 days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
