opening for a Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager. Position:
Servpro of Morton Grove/East Niles is seeking a Water/Fire Mitigation Project Manager to join our emergency response and restoration teams. This full-time role may require some weekend or evening work based on job schedules. Responsibilities: Manage emergency services projects for damages caused by fire, water, mold, etc., including meeting with homeowners and performing water extraction, drying, cleaning, light demolition, and cleaning tasks. Oversee project execution from start to finish, including communication with homeowners and claims representatives to ensure efficient and timely completion.
Compensation: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience Medical and Vision Insurance
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee customer service processes and address customer needs. Manage scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews following company guidelines. Handle job documentation, profitability, and efficiency assessments. Create and review job scopes for accuracy and clarity. Review all job paperwork to ensure staff readiness. Perform basic mitigation duties when necessary.
Position Requirements:
Effective written and oral communication skills Valid drivers license Intermediate math skills Preferred: Experience in cleaning/restoration High school diploma or GED IICRC certifications required Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in tight spaces Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects repeatedly Ability to work with cleaning chemicals Willingness to travel locally and out of state when needed Willing to undergo background check and drug screening
Experience:
1-3 years in Water/Fire Restoration At least 1 year in Project Management related to Water/Fire Restoration
