Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all phases of project development and implementation by ensuring business deliverables are completely satisfied, on time, and within budget. Produce reports on assigned project deliverables to keep management informed of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes, and milestone achievements or misses. Escalate issues as required to appropriate project teams, business, or counterparts. Serve as the liaison to the customer for the development team. Analyze problems in terms of process and/or systems functionality; generate data and apply analytical and quantitative techniques to formulate, describe, communicate, and coordinate implementation of recommended solutions. Measure and report on program/project successes and challenges using understandable metrics. Document and communicate project status to the project team and/or management. Provide final approval of project implementation. Work with the Project Management Office to manage projects following the Enstar Project Management methodology, ensuring risks are managed, issues are addressed, costs and time are monitored, stakeholder communication takes place, quality is managed, and the team is engaged. Business Analysis Assume business analyst responsibilities on some assignments when the project is not large enough for both a Project Manager and a Business Analyst. Lead customer, stakeholder, and development team members in analyzing business requirements and developing solutions aligned with business and IT strategies. Participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure compliance and operational risk controls according to Enstar or regulatory standards and policies; address any issues to optimize relations with internal controls and external regulators. Qualifications
Minimum of eight years of proven and progressive project management experience supporting assigned businesses or functions. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience. Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred and may substitute for some experience. Strong problem-solving, lateral thinking, communication, project management, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Ability to work effectively as part of a team to drive projects and deliverables. Strong analytical and information gathering skills; capable of creating solid project artifacts, including business cases and functional specifications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and MS Access. Experience in planning, executing, and controlling smaller projects using PRINCE2 or PMI Practitioner methodologies. Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines. Proven success in a fast-paced environment managing multiple demands. Flexible approach suitable for a global operation. Additional Information
