is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified
Hematologist
with experience and a focus on Adult Sickle Cell disease to join the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Rego Park in Queens, NY. The team comprises a diverse group of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to patient-centered, comprehensive care for this specialized population. Northwell Health offers extensive sickle cell disease services, including pediatric and adult clinics, treatments like hydroxyurea and blood transfusions, as well as stem cell transplantation and gene therapy. The sickle cell specialist will be a key part of Northwell’s adult Hematology division, with opportunities for research and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. Northwell Health’s Cancer Institute is recognized for teaching excellence and leadership in various organizations. Rego Park
provides multispecialty care to a diverse community, offering primary and specialty care, including comprehensive cancer services, with interpreters and translation services to ensure effective communication. Services at Northwell Health Cancer Institute Rego Park
include: A multidisciplinary clinic for gastrointestinal cancers, providing same-day consultations with multiple specialists and personalized treatment plans. Diverse care teams speaking over 30 languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Korean, Hindi, and Bengali. Access to novel treatments through clinical trials. Collaboration with specialized teams at Zuckerberg Cancer Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Northwell Health Cancer Institute treats over 19,000 patients annually with more than 200 physicians across 25+ sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research fosters innovation in molecular medicine, genetics, oncology, and more.
