The Position Our bank client seeks to fill a Hybrid Remote Commercial Loan Workout Officer role in the Boston, MA area. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, requiring high personal accountability, credit knowledge, analytical skills, and lending experience.
This position offers a salary up to $175K and a benefits package.
(Hybrid remote position) .
Responsibilities include:
Managing portfolios of commercial customers.
Coordinating information gathering for reviews with assigned clients.
Communicating with delinquent borrowers to identify and counsel on workout options.
Reviewing loan files for completeness and collateral security.
Negotiating workouts with involved parties from request to closure.
Preparing credit presentations, including financial and collateral analysis.
Recommending risk rating adjustments.
Providing customer service on collection issues.
Researching delinquent accounts and coordinating payment recovery.
Resolving discrepancies and short payments.
Monitoring accounts for potential non-accrual or reserve needs.
Ensuring compliance with credit and collection policies and regulations.
Performing additional duties or projects as assigned.

Skills and experience include:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
3-5 years of experience in commercial lending with business development and credit administration responsibilities.
