Management Consultant – Sr. Associate Cyber Analysis Lafayette Group is seeking highly motivated professionals to provide analytical and program support for federal cybersecurity initiatives. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a foundation in cyber analysis who want to grow in government consulting and technical domains. This position will support research, facilitation, and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on the intake, triage, and initial analysis of cyber information from government and industry partners. The role also involves coordinating activities that bring together multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring operational information is translated into actionable insights and shared effectively across communities. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytic, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to adapt to fast-paced mission environments. Responsibilities

Support the intake, receipt, and triage of cybersecurity information and partner-shared insights from federal, state, local, industry, and international stakeholders. Conduct research and enrichment using open-source, commercial, and government cyber data sources to support situational awareness. Assist with tracking and documenting cyber events, incidents, and partner submissions in knowledge management systems. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration by supporting workshops, meetings, and governance sessions. Draft reports, talking points, and briefing materials for leadership review. Provide administrative and operational support to senior analysts, strategists, and program managers. Collaborate with technical and policy staff to ensure insights are synthesized into actionable products. Maintain task trackers and knowledge repositories to ensure analytic outputs are discoverable and reusable. Collaborate with technical staff to ensure information is operationalized and disseminated effectively. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, political science, information systems, international relations, or related field. 3–6 years of professional experience in consulting, program support, or cyber analysis. Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerabilities, incident response, and threat intelligence. Experience with research and analysis methods, including use of open-source or subscription-based cyber data tools. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with experience supporting meetings or partner engagement activities. Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to produce clear and concise products. Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments. Ability to obtain a security clearance. Desired Qualifications

Prior consulting or cyber analyst experience. Familiarity with cyber frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF). Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow for task and knowledge management. Ability to obtain security clearance and/or DHS suitability. Location

Arlington, VA – Hybrid/Telework available 2-3 days per week Federal Contracts

This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Compensation

Salary Range: $65K - $85K per year Other Details
