Overview

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Student Services department.

Responsibilities

Assist in office clerical duties including, but not limited to the following: Manage filing system for the department Maintaining COM student files Responsible for front desk reception that includes answering incoming department calls, welcoming students, guests, and visitors, providing program information, and directing students to the appropriate office Handles general clerical needs of the office: copying, faxing, filing, and responding to telephone inquiries Assist with COM functions, ceremonies, open houses etc. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience High School Diploma/GED Eqvlnt required. Associate in Arts preferred. High School Diploma or GED 1 year administrative experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities General administrative duties (required) Strong interpersonal skills Well organized Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Working Conditions Sitting for long periods of time Able to lift 5 lbs

USD $35,493.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $29,419.00/Yr.
