Project Manager - GPU Hardware (Contract, $50-$60/hr)

A well-established organization in the hardware and semiconductor industry is seeking a skilled
Project Manager
to support GPU hardware programs. This role will focus on managing complex hardware IP development initiatives from concept through post-silicon validation and final commercialization.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, maintain detailed project schedules, and ensure successful execution of deliverables across global engineering functions. This position is ideal for someone with technical program management experience in semiconductor, ASIC, or GPU development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, KPIs, and resource allocation Lead cross-functional meetings and maintain alignment across engineering, validation, and support teams Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to support IP development and silicon validation Maintain documentation and reporting using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) Communicate project status and updates to internal stakeholders and leadership Promote process improvements and ensure operational efficiency across project workflows Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience managing technical hardware or semiconductor projects Familiarity with ASIC design cycles, hardware IP development, and post-silicon validation Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification Exposure to GPU, CPU, or DSP product lifecycles Knowledge of Linux, Android, or Windows operating systems Experience working with geographically distributed teams Contract Details: Duration:
