The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the dealership's profitability. You'll be responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting a variety of financial and insurance products to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Responsibilities:
Finance & Loan Processing:
Guide customers through the financing process, from credit application and lender negotiation to securing approvals and finalizing loan documentation. Product Sales:
Present and sell financial and insurance (F&I) products (e.g., extended warranties, gap insurance), tailoring recommendations to customer needs to maximize sales. Deal Structuring & Profitability:
Structure financing deals to ensure dealership profitability and track performance metrics to increase F&I product penetration. Customer Relations:
Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport to ensure a positive and seamless financing experience. Compliance & Administration:
Guarantee all transactions comply with federal and state regulations, maintain strong lender relationships, and assist with sales reporting. Train and mentor sales staff on F&I products and processes. Maintain strong relationships with lenders and insurance providers. Assist with monthly and quarterly sales reports and financial analysis (as needed). Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive finance or a related field (e.g., banking, lending). Strong understanding of automotive financing principles and loan options. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in computer skills and dealership management software (DMS). Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license with a clean record.
