Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
AWS DevOps Engineer
to join our growing technology team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and managing cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and containerized deployments. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage
CI/CD pipelines
to support application development and deployment. Build, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on
AWS
(EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.). Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using
Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible . Manage containerization and orchestration with
Docker
and
Kubernetes (EKS) . Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using
CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack . Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability. Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with best practices. Troubleshoot complex system and deployment issues across environments. Required Skills & Experience
6-10 years
of IT experience with at least
4+ years in AWS DevOps/Cloud Engineering . Strong expertise with
AWS services
(EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, Route 53, RDS, etc.). Proficiency in
CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, or similar. Hands-on experience with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Containerization experience with
Docker
and orchestration using
Kubernetes (EKS preferred) . Strong scripting skills in
Python, Bash, or Shell . Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools ( CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana ). Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance. Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
or other AWS certifications. Experience with
DevSecOps practices
(security scanning, compliance automation). Exposure to
Agile/Scrum environments .
