Operate and maintain complex cannabis extraction equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and optimal performance, adhering to all company safety standards and operational protocols.

Prepare raw cannabis material for extraction by accurately performing grinding, decarboxylation, weighing, and other pre-processing steps in accordance with product specifications.

Execute extraction processes using approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure maximum yield and product purity while minimizing waste.

Assist in the formulation of cannabis-infused products such as oils, tinctures, edibles, and topicals by measuring and mixing ingredients based on precise recipes and dosing requirements.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all formulations, batch records, and production processes to ensure full traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.

Perform regular quality control testing on raw materials and finished products using analytical tools and methods such as chromatography to verify potency, purity, and consistency.

Conduct in-process and post-production inspections to ensure that all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines for safety, dosage, and labeling.

Identify and report any product inconsistencies, contamination, or equipment issues immediately to supervisory personnel to ensure timely corrective action.

Prepare finished products for distribution by performing accurate labeling, sealing, and storage in accordance with packaging protocols and legal requirements.

Operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery including bottlers, labelers, vacuum sealers, and other automation tools to support efficient and accurate product output.

Ensure that all packaged cannabis products meet child-resistant standards, proper labeling regulations, and include all legally required information.

Maintain accurate logs of packaged product inventory, batch numbers, weights, and quantities to support internal tracking, compliance, and sales readiness.

Keep the laboratory and production workspace clean, sanitary, and well-organized at all times, following health department guidelines and internal cleanliness protocols.

Perform regular equipment checks and preventive maintenance tasks, reporting any malfunctions, breakdowns, or safety hazards promptly to a supervisor.

Monitor stock levels of lab supplies, ingredients, and materials, submitting restocking requests or placing orders in a timely manner to avoid production delays.

Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding cannabis manufacturing, storage, handling, and safety throughout all stages of production.

Maintain meticulous logs and compliance documents for production runs, test results, inventory counts, and SOP adherence, ensuring records are audit-ready at all times.

Participate in both scheduled and unscheduled internal or external audits, providing full transparency and support to regulatory agencies or management teams.

Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to meet or exceed daily production quotas, troubleshoot process bottlenecks, and improve operational efficiency.

Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues about equipment needs, production timelines, quality concerns, or workflow challenges to promote a transparent work environment.
