Lead Java Microservices Developer (DevOps)

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Java Microservices Developer with a strong DevOps focus to oversee the design, development, and deployment of microservices-based applications. This leadership role involves guiding teams in building scalable Java solutions while driving CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot for enterprise-grade applications. Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to streamline deployments. Oversee containerized deployments of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments. Mentor and guide development teams on best practices for microservices architecture and DevOps processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of scalable, resilient systems. Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and reliability through DevOps practices and automation. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot, focusing on microservices and DevOps integration. Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures with REST APIs and event-driven systems. Strong expertise in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Experience leading technical teams and driving development projects from conception to deployment. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with advanced DevOps tools like Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure-as-code automation. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting and scaling microservices applications. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for production systems.
