Position Responsibilities Operates press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and templates. Sets up press brake tooling and programs machine controls for various bend sequences and material types. Loads and positions sheet metal into the press brake by hand or by using an overhead crane. Adjusts machine settings to accommodate material thickness, bend angles, and part dimensions. Performs quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures) to ensure parts meet specifications. Understanding of different material properties and potential machine limitations. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to work alone. Knowledge of rigging. May operate other machines (saws, rolls, etc.) Other sheet metal shop duties as assigned by shop foremen. Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
No experience is necessary, but familiarity in a metal fabrication environment is a plus. Willing to train. Variety of shifts available: 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00am until 3:30pm 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm until 1:30am
