Job Description

The position requires little supervision and works very independently to achieve goals. This position overseas the companies first responder program, including recruiting, retention, and training. Ensures all visitors have required insurance and meets all company admittance requirements. Conducts investigation at the direction if the security manager. Serves as the backup for the company DER. Owner of the Lenel badge access system. Creating and maintaining badge access levels and issuing new badges. Owner of the first responder program, responsible for recruiting, retention, and training. Operates switchboard and intercom system; takes and delivers messages. Conducts investigations at the direction of the security manager. Greets vendors, customers, salespeople, and visitors; directs them to proper company representative. Maintains accurate visitor sign-in log. Visitor management program - tracking and ensuring compliance and legal responsibilities are met before entry. Manages the drug testing program and serves as the backup to the company DER. Working with subject matter experts to create and update crisis and food defense plans Facilitate completion of annual crisis exercises. Assist with crisis response as needed Conducts training programs for security guards' company wide. Qualifications

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

Required Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar field. Computer experience preferred. 5-10 years' experience in Security field. Knowledge of building security and lock systems and general safety and security procedures ng verbal and communication skills required. Must possess effective interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, including oral, written and listening. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel. Reports to: Manager Security/Crisis Management
