QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma and 60 hours of college coursework from an accredited university.
Home Health Aide certification (CHHA) or willingness to participate in the certification program.
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services,Supervisor of Special Services, and School Nurse
JOB GOAL: The School Health Aide will provide individualized, compassionate care and support to students with hygienic/medical/academic needs, ensuring their safety and well-being within the school environment. This might involve assisting with academics, daily life activities, monitoring health, and collaborating with the special education department and staff and healthcare professionals to meet the students' unique needs.
