Our client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 20+ years ago, they specialize in the federal/government, healthcare, and commercial spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work/projects and long-term growth of the organization! Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials Help prepare, issue, and track subcontractor agreements and purchase orders Participate in project meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items Support the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely responses and documentation Maintain project documentation, including drawings, logs, daily reports, and change orders Help with permitting and compliance with local codes and regulations Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure smooth communication between the office and field Assist with project closeout procedures, including punch lists, O&M manuals, and final inspections MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Degree in Construction Management (or related field) preferred 3+ years of Project Management experience Experience working on federal/government or healthcare projects preferred Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Procore (or similar project management platforms) Must be a self-motivated individual who works independently and excels in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and customer relations skills Base salary up to $110K depending upon experience.
