Insurers globally are investing in technology-enabled transformation. Key areas include claims, underwriting, policy and billing. Our ambition is to be the C-suite advisor for insurance technology-enabled transformation programs, with globally integrated capabilities. Typical projects span areas such as: Guidewire System Implementation (Policy, Billing, Claims) Enterprise Data Management Reinsurance Accounting and Reporting Operations/Technology Performance Management and Measurement Enterprise Technology Expense Reduction We assist clients in designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across strategy, people, processes and technology. Responsibilities
Work directly with clients to transform business problems into technology solutions. Support efforts to increase effectiveness and efficiency, and assist with remediation and mitigation of process risk. Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, infrastructure design, vendor selection and implementation plans that support clients. Assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture and implementation plans. Collaborate with client engagement teams, mentor junior resources, and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment. Travel to client sites as necessary. Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business or related field and 5+ years of progressive work experience defining business and technical requirements; or a master's degree with 3+ years of work experience defining business and technical requirements. 3+ years of relevant experience working in financial services or advising property and casualty insurance carriers on personal or commercial lines. 2+ years of experience managing and supervising a team of business analysts and technology analysts through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing. Previous application experience in Guidewire or similar insurance software (Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica). Proficiency in system and vendor selection and implementation; definition of business and technical requirements; design of business and technology architecture; business intelligence/decision support; program/project management and implementation planning (PMO). Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and present to clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of Agile SCRUM, BA methodologies, data flows, traceability matrices, testing strategies, and software engineering methodologies. Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary. Experience with planning and facilitating user acceptance testing and managing related business relationships. Experience with management reporting enhancement, business intelligence/decision support, data warehousing/enterprise data design and management, or enterprise application integration.
