Senior Project Manager Audio Visual
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Senior Project Manager Audio Visual to join a fast-growing team delivering world-class AV integrations across healthcare, higher-ed, public sector, and enterprise environments. Based in Chicago, this role is a rare opportunity to lead complex, high-visibility projectslecture halls, hybrid learning spaces, conference rooms, command centers, and morewhile driving execution from kickoff to turnover. We're looking for a client-facing leader who thrives on solving problems, keeping projects on schedule and budget, and mentoring the next generation of project managers. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead full AV project lifecycle from planning to commissioning and service handoff Manage schedules, budgets, risk registers, phasing plans, and communication plans Author and control project documentation (SOWs, submittals, RFIs, change orders) Track financials: P&L, forecasting, invoicing, procurement, and margin targets Coordinate across trades (IT, Electrical/Low-Voltage, Security) and general contractors Oversee installation quality, testing, commissioning, and compliance with safety standards Guide delivery across Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Shure, dvLED, AVoIP, DSP, and control systems Lead subcontractor/vendor partnerships and escalate to manufacturers when needed Run client status meetings, report progress, and manage risks transparently Deliver clean project closeout with as-builts, O&M manuals, training, and asset lists Mentor junior PMs and coordinators; refine SOPs and delivery playbooks Senior Project Manager Requirements:
7+ years of progressive AV project management experience on $250K$2M+ projects Strong command of AV ecosystems (Crestron, Extron, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, Shure, AVoIP) Demonstrated ownership of project scope, schedule, and budget Experience with union/low-voltage labor and active facility integrations Skilled in MS Project or Smartsheet, Bluebeam/Adobe, MS Office, and Excel forecasting Excellent communication and negotiation skills with executive presence Valid driver's license; ability to work on-site across Chicago and collar counties Physical ability to lift 50 lbs; meet site-specific safety and compliance requirements Preferred: AVIXA CTS/CTS-D, PMP, OSHA-30, public sector experience, and background in dvLED and hybrid learning environments.
