We are seeking an ADON for a great leadership opportunity in Atlanta, GA.Job Summary:The ADON serves as a clinical operational liaison between the units and the Director of Nursing. He/She is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Nursing Units including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.Responsibilities:Assists Director of Nursing with staffing - Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hire and orients professional staff.Clinical Leadership - Works with DON to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement the comprehensive nursing programProvides Nursing Leadership in order to meet the goals of the organization and the individual centerWorks with Don to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.Ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplinesPrepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve the quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.Active involvement in Quality Improvement.Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and othersQualifications/Requirements: RN requiredRN licensed to practice in the State of GeorgiaMust have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facility.Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.Current CPR certification.Salary: Competitive+BenefitsShifts: Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5 pm
