DataStaff is seeking a

Senior .Net Applications Developer

for one of our direct clients in the

Richmond, VA

area for a long-term contract opportunity. This position is hybrid; the selected candidate must work onsite several days per week. Responsibilities

Analyzing complex software requirements to design and develop high quality components for N-tier systems. Take a lead role within the team, ensuring that programming best practices are being followed, prioritizing work effectively, addressing production issues in a timely manner, and writing system documentation when required. Ability to develop applications and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Java Script, jQuery, Angular JS, Node.js and CSS. Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability. Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery. In-depth knowledge of system design patterns, tiered architecture, and testing practices. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function. Ability to plan and manage projects. Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them. Participate in code reviews. Enforce standards and best practices. Participate in Agile SDLC. Have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions. Required Skills

10 Years - Experience with ADO.Net and Entity Frameworks 10 Years - Experience with SQL Server Proc/Functions development and tuning 3 Years - Experience with Automated Builds using Microsoft Team Foundation Server 6 Years - Experience with Process automation and troubleshooting 3 Years - Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS and SSIS. 3 Years - Experience with Design Patterns and using MVC framework, Dependency Injection Framework 3 Years - Experience with Agile SDLC best practices Desired Skills

3 Years - Experience developing with Azure 3 Years - Experience working on .NET/GIS projects 2 Years - Experience or working knowledge on Dynamics 365 3 Years - Experience working with Python scripting This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
