Position Summary: The HVAC Shop Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fabrication shop, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication and hydronic piping, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: ● Supervise and train a team of fabricators. ● Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily shop activities. ● Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. ● Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal ductwork and fittings. ● Fabricate and weld hydronic piping systems (steel, copper, PVC). ● Operate and maintain a variety of fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, rollers, and welding machines. ● Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. ● Manage inventory of materials and supplies. ● Collaborate with project managers and field crews to ensure seamless project execution. ● Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet project requirements. ● Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues. Qualifications: ● Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC fabrication, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role. ● Expertise in sheet metal fabrication and welding. ● Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings. ● Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards. ● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members. ● OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. ● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
