Senior Technical Support Specialist

GFT . This role can be fully remote; candidates must reside in the United States. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to end users on a variety of technical issues, including software and hardware failures. Respond to calls for breaks/fixes and assist with moving/relocating new setups of equipment. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Escalate issues to appropriate teams as needed. Ensure timely resolution and documentation of all assigned tickets in the ticketing system. Create and maintain accurate IT documentation and knowledge articles. Document every end-user correspondence clearly in the service desk system. Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable information to support teams. Improve customer service knowledge and techniques through ongoing training. Take ownership of resolving end-user inquiries and anticipate potential follow-up questions. Use various systems for issue tracking, end-user account management, inventory, and procurement. Available for occasional on-call support on a rotational basis. Overnight travel to GFT offices may be required. Routinely lift up to 50 pounds, access constrained IT spaces, and perform under desks for workstation configuration and support.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the following areas: Desktop support environments, end-user support, and customer service. Experience supporting end users with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office/365 applications. Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues for end users.
Ability to build positive working relationships with end users and teammates. Ability to maintain composure under pressure while managing complex work assignments. Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Self-motivated and productive in both team-based and independent work. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high volumes of work. Track record of delivering high-impact results.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as an end-user support technician within an AEC firm is highly preferred. Experience with: Mac OS X Intermediate networking knowledge Microsoft 365 administration Video conferencing software and systems OneDrive Microsoft SCCM Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Intune Project Management Frameworks PowerShell scripting ITIL principles and processes FreshService ticketing system Engineering software such as AutoCAD, BIM, MicroStation, etc.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Benefits
