The Opportunity This position works out of our Pleasanton, CA location in the Heart Failure division. In Abbott's Heart Failure (HF) business, we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. What You'll Work On Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Service: Maintain internal and external customer service targets for products. Proactively communicates with stakeholders and spearheads resolution of short term threats. Inventory: Kanban product inventory management, Production Order reconciliation, Production Supplies management, SAP material movement control and distressed Inventory impact on the P&L. Sets target inventory stocking levels. Capacity Planning: Review monthly MSP targets from site planners to ensure alignment with strategies and adherence to weekly MSP targets. Financial: Reduction & accurate projection of Distressed Inventory (Excess & Obsolescence). Ensures production execution stays in synch with actual demand. Within an assigned scope of products. Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Manages tactical execution of initiatives and production plans that span multiple plants. Interface with operations and distribution with respect to schedule controls, inventory management, capacity utilization, returns and rework queues and customer needs. Influences site supply planning, distribution and logistics teams Mentors and develops skills of less experienced staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent leadership, problem solving, negotiating, and general "people skills" Excellent written and oral communications skills with particular attention to detail. Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint and presenting to executive leadership Preferred Qualifications Operations, Supply Chain and Project Management certification.
