Synexus is seeking applicants for a Management Accountant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable. Following a successful investment round, the Management Accountant will play an essential role in helping to build out reporting, processes and controls. Key Responsibilities
Manage AR and AP processes including supplier payments and customer invoicing Post journal entries into Xero for various month end adjustments Manage intercompany recharges and billing Complete all bank reconciliations and manage working capital position Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and variance analysis Build out balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts Assist in Financial Reporting for Investor relations Assist in Forecasting and Budgeting process Develop controls and processes Assist the Finance Manager with various ad hoc internal and external reports as required Essential Experience And Behaviours
Newly Qualified Accountant or 1-2 years post qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Management Accounts experience Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrate strong analytical skills and commercial acumen Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to create and manipulate reports Self-starter: knows what needs to be done and can build a plan to deliver Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced rapidly changing business Desirable Experience And Behaviours
Past experience and desire to work as part of a remote/virtual team Previous experience in a start up/scale-up environment Experience using Xero Experience managing concurrent projects across countries and time zones Experience working with multiple currencies and foreign exchange What We Offer
Competitive salary based on experience and location (in the region of £50k for a full-time role) Flexible working hours part-time or full-time (4 or 5 days a week) Must have the right to work in the UK As a global organization, some flexibility for cross-time zone communication to be available for limited virtual meetings outside of office hours is required.
