Our client, a respected financial services firm based in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a
Corporate Accountant
to join their team. This role will play a key part in overseeing the firms day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and general ledger management. The Corporate Accountant will also contribute to reconciliations, reporting, and various special projects. Key Responsibilities
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Support month-end close, including preparation of journal entries Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts Assist with the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules Partner with internal teams on expense tracking and reporting Contribute to ad hoc accounting and financial projects as needed Qualifications
210 years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within professional or financial services Strong knowledge of accounting principles and core functions (AP, AR, month-end close, GL) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills CPA designation or active progress toward CPA preferred Seniority level
