The individual will assist in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Help create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Perform at least two modalities on a regular basis. The essential functions include performing various radiographic and computed tomography procedures consistent with experience. Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Test defibrillators and check the integrity of the crash cart. Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Safely prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Adhere to safety and well-being requirements for associates and patients, including required vaccinations. The department performs general diagnostic radiology procedures, which may include x-rays, fluoroscopy, and mammography. The department is also responsible for pre-procedure and post-procedure care. This position is represented by a union.
