Job Title: Controls Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Technician responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and assisting in the repair of electrical control systems. This role requires overnight shifts, but offers flexibility in creating shift coverage with the team.
Responsibilities
Program and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
Assist in the repair of electrical control systems.
Collaborate with the team to ensure shift coverage.
Utilize PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Apply knowledge in HMI and CAD design.
Engage in pneumatics and hydraulics tasks.
Work with Siemens PLC and circuitry.
Implement variable frequency design and network infrastructure.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting skills in PLC and electrical systems.
Experience with electrical systems and PLC programming.
Knowledge of HMI and CAD design.
Associates Degree in a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Siemens PLC is a plus.
Basic programming skills are required.
Networking knowledge is desired but not mandatory.
Work Environment
The role operates in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels and hot and cold conditions. Shifts are 6-2pm, 2-10pm, and 10-6am, with rotating shifts that may require day shifts for project work and training. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be necessary in certain areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $43.00/hr.
