The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting customers in selecting the correct automotive parts, either in person or over the phone, by accurately identifying parts numbers, checking inventory, placing special orders when necessary, providing price quotes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

PAY IS BEGINS AT $18.00 AN HOUR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist walk in customers. Answer incoming calls, provide price quotes, set up orders, set up deliveries, and set up pick-ups. Pull purchase parts from stock. Assist Service Technicians with their parts needs. Verify “will calls” and back orders weekly. Order parts not in stock and notify Service on special order parts.

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS: Prior Parts Counter experience, OEM or aftermarket preferred. Ability to identify parts numbers. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Professional personal appearance. Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. with an hour for lunch. Rotating Saturdays for half a day.
