Senior EPI Process Engineer

Jireh semiconductor is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join their Epitaxy team in Hillsboro, OR. This is a senior level position, however we will also consider those with experience of Engineer I or II level. POSITION SUMMARYThe Staff Process Engineer (EPI) will work closely with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure robust manufacturing processes are established and maintained. This position will provide process engineering support for existing and new products including process problem-solving, yield improvement, process monitoring, and cost reduction. The position reports to the EPI process engineering manager.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESSupporting and developing EPI processes for production and RD in a 200mm fab.Working closely with device and integration engineering team to develop new EPI processes for high performance power devicesOptimizing processes and process controls for lower cost, higher productivity and enabling new productsImplementing and refining SPC controls to reduce process variation.Performing statistically designed experiments, analyzing, writing report, qualifying process changesDisposition of discrepant material, troubleshoot process drift or human error, diagnose and implement of preventative actions in a cost effective mannerMaintaining documentation necessary for proper operation of the equipment.Writing specs of processes and operations, qualification plans, weekly updates, documentation of scrap and reworkImproving the performance of the area using Lean manufacturing techniquesEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelors, Masters, Ph.D degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or similar degree.Minimum 5 years experience in process engineering in semiconductor manufacturing. Minimum 1 years experience in Silicon EpitaxyExperience with ASM Epi reactor is strongly preferred.Include examples of practical industrial experience in the resume.QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTSStrong statistical data analysis skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
