Remote/hybrid flexibility but must live within the region and be able to travel to job sites as needed. Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle of solar EPC projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This includes leading field execution, managing construction teams, and providing oversight during preconstruction to ensure readiness, alignment with scope, and efficient mobilization. The Senior PM ensures safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance on all assigned projects. Key Responsibilities

Preconstruction Oversight Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules for constructability and site execution planning. Collaborate with estimating during bid phase to validate scope, phasing, and manpower projections. Participate in subcontractor scope reviews and pre-award meetings. Assist in developing preliminary construction schedules, procurement timelines, and risk assessments. Lead internal hand-off meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to field execution.

Construction Execution Oversee all phases of field execution including mobilization, construction, inspections, and closeout. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, manpower plans, and three-week lookaheads. Coordinate across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes to drive efficient installation. Conduct site visits and lead weekly construction meetings with internal teams and subcontractors.

Cost & Contract Management Manage project budgets and cost controls throughout construction. Review and approve pay applications, manage change orders, and track committed vs. actual costs. Enforce scope compliance and verify subcontractor alignment with contract documents. Provide regular budget forecasts and variance reports to executive leadership.

Field & Team Coordination Supervise construction managers, field engineers, and foremen. Coordinate closely with Procurement and Warehouse for materials, tools, and equipment delivery. Direct subcontractors and hold teams accountable for performance, schedule, and safety. Act as the primary field point-of-contact for resolution of issues, RFI escalations, and decision-making.

Compliance & Closeout Ensure full compliance with Contracts, Customer Requirements, OSHA, NEC, local codes, and internal safety policies. Maintain field documentation including daily logs, inspections, and quality control reports. Oversee final inspections, punch list completion, and as-built documentation. Coordinate handoff packages and ensure timely project closeout and turnover.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of construction management experience; solar EPC preferred. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience. Strong knowledge of construction plans, sequencing, and field logistics. OSHA 30 required; PMP, NABCEP, or other construction certifications are a plus. Experience managing projects from preconstruction through final punch and turnover. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project, and Office 365. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed. Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down the organization. Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources. Successfully lead and manage complex portfolios valued at $5 million+. Proven success managing subcontractors and developing and executing innovative project changes. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract and insurance documents and forms, and make appropriate recommendations. Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.

Strong attention to detail in preconstruction review and risk identification. Comfortable leading large field teams and navigating fast-paced construction environments.

Compensation & Benefits
