Inventory Operations Specialist at
Rancho Gordo
— Rancho Gordo, a small but growing specialty-foods producer, is seeking a reliable, hard-working individual to assist the director of operations with product management and inventory tracking. You will manage our inventory tracking systems, act as a liaison to other departments, and offer recommendations to streamline processes and ensure optimal inventory levels in our warehouses.
Responsibilities
Develop an efficient inventory tracking system to streamline our business operations
Communicate with our grower liaison on crop yields and inventory needs
Communicate with warehouse, production, and sales staff about current stock and potential issues with orders
Analyze inventory and sales data to make recommendations
Implement inventory control procedures and best practices
Assist with supervision of production staff
Occasionally oversee temporary staff during night shifts
Create product labels for production
Update pallet tags
Assist with the packaging and/or shipping process as needed
Assist with warehouse organization, including transporting inventory between warehouses
Qualifications
Inventory control experience in a warehouse setting, and familiarity with inventory software
Forklift experience
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Thoroughness and strong attention to detail and organization
Proactive, resourceful, and motivated
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Spanish fluency a plus
