2ND SHIFT ONLY: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Purpose and Scope: The Inbound Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of inbound operations within a warehouse or distribution center. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments while maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of inbound receiving clerks, forklift operators, and other team members. Provide guidance and direction to ensure timely and accurate receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments. Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet operational demands. Oversee the receipt and inspection of inbound shipments of goods and materials. Ensure accurate verification of contents against packing slips or purchase orders. Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments. Maintain accurate records of received materials in inventory management systems. Organize and allocate storage space for incoming materials within the warehouse. Assist in periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of received goods. Conduct inspections of incoming shipments to identify damages, discrepancies, or defects. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues or concerns. Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders regarding inbound shipments. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, logistics, and warehouse operations, to optimize inbound processes and resolve issues. Provide regular updates and reports on inbound performance metrics, such as receipt accuracy and timeliness. Requirements:

Required PPE: Safety Vest. Safety Gloves Safety Glasses. Skills / Qualifications: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Job Competency / Qualifications Education/ Training: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Technical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations. Previous experience in inbound logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management required. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
