Exempt Summary:

Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending departments, private party operations, and workplace employee activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Directs and controls daily operations to ensure the school runs according to GSS standard operating procedures. Assists the General Manager and department managers with fulfilling daily tasks. Manages staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction. Trains and oversees the aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction. Interacts with Deck Supervisors and Golden Teachers regarding class scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee training. Provides sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff. Oversees retail and vending departments to ensure proper product mix and pricing. Trains and oversees private party staff to maintain GSS standards. Gains knowledge in the Links software for bookings, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks. Maintains a safe and sanitary swim environment through pool operations knowledge. Initiates and oversees workplace employee activities to improve satisfaction. Implements and trains staff on the Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures. Maintains current certifications and stays updated professionally. Fulfills other duties as assigned. Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree or higher preferred. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider required. Management experience and swimming instruction experience preferred. Certificates and Licenses:

Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required; shallow water attendant highly recommended. Work Environment:
