Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in a hospital setting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback to enhance personal performance.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for ongoing care and legal compliance.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
Utilize data and metrics to assess and improve patient care outcomes.
Adapt to changing environments and patient needs with flexibility and resilience.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Participate in hospital committees and initiatives to improve psychiatric services.
Experience/Qualifications Possess a valid RN license in New Hampshire.
Minimum 2 years experience in psychiatric nursing.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
Knowledge of hospital policies and state regulations in psychiatry.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and team communication.
Strong analytical skills to utilize data for improving patient care.
Ability to educate patients and families on mental health conditions.
Proficient in electronic health record systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
Experience in participating in hospital committees and initiatives.
