Sr. Electrical Engineer

This is a highly visible role that combines both new product development and technical leadership across cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of compact, wearable RF-enabled electronics, including antenna design and low-power circuitry

Architect and implement new hardware solutions focused on performance, reliability, and cost optimization

Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production handoffs

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including vendor sourcing, testing, and compliance

Provide engineering leadership for sustaining product improvements, failure analysis, and design enhancements

Own the full hardware lifecycle—from schematic to layout, DFM/DFT, and transition to automated mass production

Mentor junior electrical engineers and contribute to team-wide engineering standards and best practices

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex electrical design challenges

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

10+ years of experience in the design and development of electronic hardware

Extensive background in RF engineering and antenna design for wearable or IoT devices

Hands-on experience with low-power, battery-operated, wireless systems (cellular, GNSS, Bluetooth, etc.)

Strong knowledge of flex, rigid, and rigid-flex PCB technologies

Proficient in CAD tools (Altium and/or Allegro preferred)

Demonstrated experience with component selection, schematic capture, layout, testing, and DFM

Familiar with high-volume manufacturing processes and NPI best practices

Effective communicator, capable of interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with LTE Cat M or other cellular IoT technologies

Background in digital and analog circuit design, telecommunications networks, or microprocessor-based systems

Familiarity with environmental testing, reliability evaluations, and lifecycle planning

Ability to lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives
