Quality Manager
at our Hitchcock, Texas location, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of nVent TRACHTE enclosures. This high-growth site offers you the chance to make significant contributions while working in an inclusive environment that champions personal and professional growth. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Quality Management System Leadership:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in line with industry standards like ISO 9001. Oversee quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and data analysis, to address non-conformances proactively.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Implement and drive continuous improvement strategies such as Lean Six Sigma to optimize quality and efficiency. Support Advanced Product Quality Planning for supplier qualifications and new product introductions.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Guide and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering an environment of growth through training and development opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes.
Customer Satisfaction Focus:
Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by addressing quality-related feedback and complaints efficiently.
YOU HAVE: Educational Background:
A Bachelor of Science degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Professional certifications like CQE, CQM, or CQA are advantageous.
Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing quality systems and at least 2 years in leadership roles. Familiarity with Lean principles and ISO management systems is essential, along with proficiency in enterprise software quality tools.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to quality issues.
Strong Communication Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations across all levels of the organization.
