Summary

The TEMP Legal Assistant is responsible for the timely and efficient processing of recurring Legal payables, including but not limited to law firms and expert cost. This position will work closely with the finance team to ensure proper documentation and payment processing is adhered to with diligence and accuracy. This position will also provide Legal records and general administrative support.

Compensation

6 months; $25.50/Hour (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities Process vendor invoices via GLOVIS internal systems

Research and answer Legal billing questions Review and edit payment submissions in response to Legal and Finance Department inquiries Follow-up with vendors to ensure accurate billing Maintain vendor relationships by responding quickly and accurately to both internal (company) and external (vendor) questions and requests for information Develop knowledge around vendor term agreements to implement sound prioritization methodologies Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required Provide records support for legal including new Contract Management System Proofread documents Follow up on internal inquiries Additional tasks as assigned

Support proper Legal Records Maintenance

Organize and file Legal records Provide General Administrative support as needed Special projects and additional duties as assigned

Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents Required Mathematics - Using mathematics to solve problems Required Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing Required Information Ordering - The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations) Required English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar Required Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services Required Education & Experience

HS Diploma/G.E.D Required Associate's Degree Preferred 0 - 1 years of direct experience in Legal or Law Required 2 years of direct experience in Legal or Law Preferred Physical Requirements
