Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit

The Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry (CBMC) seeks to develop a novel alternative method on skin sensitization. This is accomplished by integrating all publicly available data on different organisms in a set of in silico models that should reduce the animal use in estimation of skin sensitization potential of novel chemicals, extractables/leachables from medical devices, etc. The Muratov Group is seeking to fill a temporary Research Scientist position with expertise in public health, cheminformatics, computational medicinal chemistry and computational toxicology. The applicant should perform data collection, curation and integration as well as Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) analysis of pure chemicals and their mixtures. Minimum Education and Experience

Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, will accept a relevant Bachelors degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution. May require terminal degree and licensure. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
