We are looking for an experienced
IT Project Manager
to join the PMO team. The role is primarily responsible for planning, overseeing, and closing multiple, complex Agile and Waterfall Hybrid projects within the established scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include the analysis, preparation, and maintenance of a variety of project plans, documents, and correspondence, as well as the coordination of project meetings and sessions with a variety of stakeholders. In addition, this role will be responsible for assigning resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors to deliver software development projects according to plan in a matrixed team environment. The IT Project Manager will also oversee project quality control throughout its life cycle. He/she should be meticulous when it comes to delivering complex, software development projects. office. Responsibilities
Prepare key project documentation including project plans, project charters, status reports, communication plans, and other documentation in alignment with Axos PMLC/SDLC processes Track project milestones, budgets/expenses, and performance to complete short- and long-term goals and deliverables with a high degree of quality Coordinate internal resources and vendors for superior execution in a matrixed, virtual team environment Effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create executive level status reports, analyze project results, and troubleshoot problem areas Conduct project lessons learned/sprint retrospectives to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path Proactively manage changes in project scope/schedule/costs, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans Report and escalate risks and issues to upper management as needed Keep assigned projects up-to-date in the Project Portfolio Management system Perform other similar duties as assigned Requirements
3+ years' IT Project Management with implementation in complex matrix-ed team environments Knowledge of PM Tools, BI reporting tools, and Azure DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server/TFS) Advanced time management, communication and analytical skills Experience managing or working with IT software development projects Knowledge of all phases of the project management life cycle and software development life cycle Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise level application development projects Preferred: Project Management Certifications. (e.g. PMP {Project Management Professional} or CAPM {Certified Associate in Project Management}) preferred but not required Axos Employee Benefits Include
