What You’ll Do

Design complex power and building systems including generator plants, medium voltage distribution, uninterruptible power systems, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding. Lead projects and a team of electrical engineers. Produce high-quality technical and professional deliverables. Apply deep knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple functions. Develop electrical system concepts and present solutions to clients. Manage project teams, develop work plans, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Perform project management activities such as writing proposals, establishing budgets, and maintaining client relationships. Ensure safety and adherence to codes and standards. Who You Are

The ideal candidate is familiar with Building Information Modeling (Revit), possesses strong communication skills, and has experience leading electrical projects in data centers or similar environments. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with electrical emphasis. 7+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for high-performance or mission-critical buildings. Experience mentoring others and strong communication skills. Knowledge of electrical systems and codes. Preferred Qualifications

Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Additional credentials like LEED or Uptime ATD are a plus. Experience with short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies. Experience with international projects and standards. Additional Information

WSP offers comprehensive benefits, competitive salary range ($95,000 - $158,000), and opportunities for professional growth. This role is based in Milwaukee, WI, or Chicago, IL.
