Responsibilities & Expectations:

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up, and collect data on low, medium, and high voltage (to 500kV) electrical systems, including relay calibration and power metering. Conduct instrument transformer tests. Perform power transformer testing (Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.). Test both electro-mechanical and solid state relays. Carry out cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot). Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches. Test low, medium, and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers. Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond promptly to customer emergencies. Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills. Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Travel locally and overnight as required. Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends; be on call as needed. Work safely alone and as part of a team, adhering to all electrical safety procedures. Contribute to a strong team environment by assisting teammates to achieve mutual goals. Qualifications and Competencies:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree from an accredited 2-year technical college in Electrical Power or similar experience/training from the military (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, NAVY Seabees) preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience. NETA Certification (III or IV) highly preferred or equivalent skills/experience to become NETA Certified. OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training preferred. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 75 lbs. Must pass a fit for duty physical exam. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods. Perform manual labor for 12+ hours per day. Good hearing and field of vision. Work in demanding physical and weather conditions. Ideal Candidate Traits:
