ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR (76655) – Regency Integrated Health Services, LLC Location: Magnolia Crossing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Houston, TX Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Category: Marketing Overview

The Admissions Director will manage the admission systems through oversight of the Admissions Coordinator, leadership of the facility or multi-facility sales and business development teams, and collaborative relationships with hospital liaisons. The role focuses on promoting facility services to generate inquiries and ensuring the interdisciplinary team has information necessary to determine appropriate admissions. Responsibilities

Build and grow revenue through inquiry and census growth. Ensure smooth patient transitions to the facility; oversee timely and accurate completion of admission agreements and welcome packets; communicate accurately with the clinical team and other department heads. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and cultivate new referring relationships within the medical community (physicians, social service departments, hospital discharge planners, governmental agencies, etc.). Educate referral sources about the facility’s scope of services. Direct facility sales and business development efforts, including chairing Internal Business Development Committee meetings. Manage and train the internal backup sales/admissions team on inquiries, tours, closing skills, and completion of Admissions Agreements and Welcome packets. Oversee marketing budget, sales and business development planning meetings, and all marketing events. Promote facility services, including nursing and therapy services; conduct facility tours as needed. Develop and document results from monthly community education/awareness programs. Participate in morning department head meetings to share admission information and upcoming promotional activities. Develop 30/60/90-day sales/call calendars targeting hospitals, referral sources, physicians, home health, hospice, and other relevant groups. Follow company sales cycle process and perform outreach to potential referral sources; schedule appointments and close follow-ups. Be out of the facility approximately 75% of the time conducting sales calls, attending business development events, and screening referrals for potential admission. Explain products, services, and benefits offered by the facility to referral sources, potential residents, families, and other inquirers. Assess potential residents for admission by reviewing charts and communicating considerations to licensed staff. Read and understand Nursing Home regulations and past facility surveys, including the 5-star rating system, and convey this information to residents, families, and referral sources. Explain financial eligibility to referral sources, potential referrals, or family members. Develop and update a weekly 30/60/90-day Sales and Business Development Plan outlining hospitals to target, competitive analysis, community events, census goals, and potential specialty programs. Screen referrals using clinical and financial grids; use the Referral Screening form and ensure PASSR is completed upon admission. Respond to hospital calls within 30 minutes and participate in referral events at either the referral location or facility. Plan at least quarterly community events involving the Administrator and DON; continuously develop policies and procedures related to inquiries, tours, and admissions. Document customer service QA responses and share feedback with appropriate facility, regional, and corporate teams. Engage with community clubs or associations related to the facility’s resident population (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Association, etc.). Ensure a tour-ready facility and maintain a model room; coordinate with departments to address deficiencies. Provide on-call coverage as assigned and participate in daily huddles with regional teams. Input demographic, financial, and waitlist information into the Electronic Medical Director for all referrals; maintain Admissions Team Meeting form in the absence of an Admissions Coordinator. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements

High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is desired. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities; ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team. Licensing Requirements
