Accountant III – Temporary

Emulate, Inc. Role duration: approximately 3–4 months with potential for future opportunities. Location: Boston, MA. Reports To: Corporate Controller. Responsibilities
Audit Support Interpret audit requests with minimal guidance. Retrieve supporting documentation from various online platforms (e.g., payroll records, vendor/customer invoices, bank statements). Prepare basic balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., other assets, prepaids, accrued expenses). Prepare the annual royalties worksheet; support and guidance will be provided as needed. General Accounting Support accounts receivable collections, including invoice preparation and follow-up. Perform bank reconciliations. Assist with payroll processing. Prepare and post journal entries on NetSuite with proper documentation. Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations. Perform ad hoc reconciliations and financial tasks as needed. Other Duties Support various finance and accounting projects as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Minimum 4–5 years of accounting/finance experience (experience in public accounting is a plus). Proficiency in navigating online financial platforms to retrieve and organize records. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Effective time management and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems preferred. Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA most of the time. Available to start at the beginning of September and commit for 3 to 4 months. Job Details
