Base pay range

$290,000.00/yr - $320,000.00/yr

About Rezolute

Rezolute is a late-stage rare disease company focused on significantly improving outcomes for individuals with hypoglycemia caused by hyperinsulinism (HI). Our antibody therapy, RZ358 (ersodetug), is designed to treat all forms of HI and has shown substantial benefit in clinical trials and real-world use for the treatment of congenital hyperinsulinism (cHI) and tumor hyperinsulinism (tHI).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously refine the national sales and field force strategy.

Establish clear KPIs, metrics, and success criteria to monitor performance across regions.

Ensure strategy is aligned with marketing, market access, patient services, compliance, and corporate objectives.

Anticipate market trends, competitor activity, and access challenges; adjust tactics proactively.

Field Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of field representatives.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance, while maintaining strict compliance.

Provide hands-on coaching, professional development, and succession planning.

Champion diversity, inclusion, and equity within the team.

Commercial Impact & Market Execution

Drive patient identification, diagnosis, and treatment initiation with key provider communities.

Build strong relationships with endocrinologists, pediatric specialists, and rare disease KOLs.

Partner with Specialty Pharmacies, Payers, and Market Access teams to secure reimbursement and minimize barriers to care.

Ensure consistent execution of sales training, communication, and incentive programs.

Lead national and regional business reviews, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Meet and exceed corporate objectives related to annual and quarterly sales targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Provide strategic input into annual marketing and brand plans.

Partner with Training, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Legal/Compliance.

Serve as the commercial voice of the field in cross-functional leadership discussions.

Develop and maintain strong external relationships within the rare disease ecosystem.

Operational Excellence

Implement best-in-class sales operations, analytics, and reporting.

Ensure performance dashboards and field data are actionable and accurate.

Manage budgets, resource deployment, and incentive programs.

Maintain the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and transparency in all field activities.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS preferred.

12+ years of commercial leadership experience in pharma/biotech, including building and leading field sales teams.

Successful track record in product launches, with rare disease or specialty product experience strongly preferred. Experience working with Endocrinologists and Oncologists is also preferred.

Proven ability to develop and execute national sales strategies that exceed performance goals.

Deep understanding of market access, reimbursement pathways, and specialty distribution models.

Strong scientific acumen to effectively engage specialist providers and stakeholders.

Compensation

Rezolute currently anticipates the base salary for the National Field Director role could range from

$290,000 to $320,000

and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s geographical location and their qualifications for the role, including education and experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan (depending, in part, on company and individual performance and at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis). The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on current market data and the qualifications, education, experience and geographical location of the selected candidate.
