Overview

Electrical Manufacturing Engineer 3 (contract) — Boeing Test & Evaluation. This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required. BT&E Wire Shops, Systems and Test Labs in Seattle or Tukwila, Washington are the typical work locations. A successful candidate will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency, and will uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration, build plan, and process requirements. They perform DFMA analysis and develop an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to ensure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements. Responsibilities

Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build Leads and implements manufacturing plans Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements Leads in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies Required Skills

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree required from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Knowledge of electrical/mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing Prior experience working on Boeing Manufacturing System Experience with manufacturing tools (PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp) Preferred Skills

3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams 3+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role Experience with space or military electronics Project management experience Experience in Work Package Estimating Pay Information

Pay Rate Range: USD 63.25 - 67.10 per hour Benefits Information
