Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments; provision, configure, and oversee Azure subscriptions, virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components. Organize resources with resource groups and tagging for governance and cost optimization. Design, configure, and maintain VNets, subnets, network security groups, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity to ensure secure and efficient network traffic flow. Monitor Azure resources’ health and performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; proactively troubleshoot issues and optimize resource utilization to control costs and improve efficiency. Implement identity and access management with Azure AD; enforce governance policies using Azure Policy; configure encryption and maintain regulatory compliance. Design and manage backup strategies, configure recovery services, and regularly test disaster recovery plans. Develop automation scripts using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates to streamline deployment and operations. Collaborate with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to guide cloud adoption and ensure smooth project deliveries. Implement security controls (RBAC, NSGs, encryption, Azure Defender) and establish monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Splunk integration. Support workloads migrations with Azure Migrate, Arc, and related tools. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud applications, including GovCloud environments 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure; familiarity with compute, networking, storage, and security services Experience with Azure Portal, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates Experience with scripting and automation using Terraform Experience with virtualization and networking concepts (e.g., Palo Alto, Prisma, Azure Virtual Networks, VNet Peering, Azure DNS, Infoblox) Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Experience with Azure Migrate and security tools (Azure Policy, Defender, Key Vault) and Identity Management Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination as required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) Additional Qualifications
Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure Experience configuring and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps pipelines Experience with IaC and advanced scripting with Terraform or Bicep Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery and high-availability architectures on Azure Experience in large-scale cloud migration or complex cloud architecture projects Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Vetting
