We are seeking a highly skilled

Data Engineer

to join the Customer Success organization at

Proofpoint . The role partners with Engineering on the data pipeline and uses SQL, Python, and other languages to transform large data sets and create outputs for customer-facing tools. The Data Engineer enables strategic initiatives such as Customer 360, Digital CS campaign engine, automated Product Health Diagnostics, predictive churn models, and Power BI dashboards. This is a technical individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, Customer Office. About Proofpoint

Build and enhance the security platform within an AWS environment (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift) in collaboration with Engineering Business Applications. Collaborate with Customer Success subject matter experts to define data requirements and transformation logic. Implement data transformation logic using SQL, Python, and other processing languages to enable data-driven customer success initiatives. Develop scalable, reusable code to reduce delivery time for future initiatives. Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across large, complex datasets. What You Bring To The Team

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, preferably in a SaaS or technology company. Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation, pipeline automation, and business logic implementation. Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, or equivalent). Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with an ownership mindset. Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, dynamic environment. Why Proofpoint
