We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to join our executive leadership team in Las Vegas, NV (On-site). Reporting directly to the Founders & CEO, the COO will serve as second-in-command, overseeing all day-to-day operations and driving strategic growth across the company. As a full-service exhibition company, we specialize in designing and delivering
custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, and experiential displays . The COO will provide oversight across
design, production, warehouse, project management, logistics, sales, and client services , ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and scalability as we enter our next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned executive with
10+ years of leadership experience
in trade shows, events, experiential marketing, fabrication, or construction management industries. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership: Translate the CEO's vision into actionable strategies that support growth, scalability, and profitability. Provide leadership across sales, project management, design, production, warehouse, logistics, and client services. Implement ERP systems, reporting structures, and workflows to improve efficiency, accountability, and decision-making. Monitor budgets, track profitability, and establish benchmarks (e.g., profit per booth size). Client Success & Business Growth: Ensure exceptional client experiences from discovery through project completion. Collaborate with sales and marketing to evaluate new opportunities and scale services. Strengthen vendor relationships, contracts, and risk management processes. Team Leadership & Culture: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Oversee staff development, training, and hiring to align with growth. Serve as the company\'s "chief problem solver", providing clarity, direction, and solutions across departments. Daily Operational Oversight: Participate in discovery calls, design approvals, and proposal reviews for high-value projects. Oversee design assignments to ensure alignment with client branding, budgets, and timelines. Manage project profitability, resource allocation, purchasing budgets, and workload distribution. Ensure all new client inquiries receive timely follow-ups and personal engagement. Guide marketing initiatives to generate consistent leads and revenue growth. Engage in HR leadership: hiring, performance reviews, and organizational capacity planning. Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO and Founders. Qualifications
10+ years of senior leadership (COO, VP of Operations, Director of Operations, or equivalent) in trade shows, events, experiential marketing, specialty fabrication, or construction management. Broad operational expertise across project management, budgeting, fabrication, logistics, workforce planning, vendor management, and ERP systems. Strong financial acumen, with a proven track record of managing budgets, cost controls, and profitability in a project-based environment. Demonstrated success in scaling teams and operations within a high-growth company. Exceptional leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Strong client-facing and communication abilities, with a history of managing high-profile clients and complex negotiations.
