Base pay range

$57,000.00/yr - $63,000.00/yr This role provides critical litigation and administrative support to a dynamic legal team, including managing case files, assisting with court filings, and coordinating case logistics. It is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for justice-focused legal work. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of case administration, including maintaining electronic case files, updating case calendars across multiple matters, and ensuring materials are current and accessible to the legal team. Keep attorneys informed of critical deadlines and case developments. Support the preparation, editing, and timely filing of legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and exhibits, ensuring accuracy through proofreading and cite-checking. Conduct legal and procedural research on federal, state, and local court rules; maintain communication with court clerks to confirm filing requirements and internal procedures. Track correspondence and documentation related to potential amici, co-counsel, and pro bono partners, and manage associated legal records. Assist with compliance and disclosure obligations, including drafting and submitting required filings. Provide administrative and logistical support for litigation matters, including scheduling, managing invoices, and coordinating travel arrangements. Attend internal meetings, court hearings, and external proceedings as needed. Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal or in litigation support Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities Familiarity with court filing procedures, including electronic filing (e-filing) systems Experience with cite-checking and knowledge of Bluebook citation rules Exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to "manage up" and work independently Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment Willingness to work paid overtime when necessary to meet critical deadlines or complete time-sensitive projects Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Job Offer / Benefits
