Overview of the Enterprise Data Office Organization Accelerating progress on our data transformation is an imperative for Citi, and we have analyzed what we need to do to make this happen. Consistently producing timely, accurate and complete data that we can confidently rely on to run our business is a team sport requiring groups to work together toward shared goals. The goal of our data transformation is to ensure we generate accurate and complete information in a timely manner, and use that data to inform our business-as-usual operations and our risk analyses, whether for real-world needs or as part of our scenario planning and regulatory reporting. Overview of the Role The Data Quality Group Manager is accountable for the management and execution of continuous Data Quality standards, controls, and metrics aligned to the Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP), with a primary focus on Data Exception Management. This role oversees firm-wide controls, setting parameters and guidelines for measurement, evaluation, adoption, and reporting of Data Quality. This role will work alongside data providers and consumers to drive compliance to the CDGP and effective Data Exception Management. Responsibilities Manage senior relationships with Data stakeholders to develop, execute, and implement Data Quality management requirements, procedures and capabilities including continuous improvement, monitoring, control, and governance of Data Quality Drive Data Exception resolution and appropriate identification of Data Concerns Identify opportunities across the firm to improve data quality and liaise with data providers and consumers to implement solutions Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions Oversee Exceptions reporting processes Lead data quality related project management activities and create presentation materials to support senior management strategic vision Build effective role-based training materials to support greater awareness of data management practices Qualifications 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred Experience defining and implementing data quality programs Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the big picture while paying close attention to detail Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
